Design Story
This is a sophisticated three-piece formal ensemble (Shalwar Kameez style). The Kameez (Shirt): A long-line, straight-cut tunic featuring heavy, full-body Zari and Sequin work. The intricate floral and paisley motifs create a shimmering, textured effect that catches the light beautifully. It features full sleeves with matching heavy embroidery. The Dupatta (Scarf): A lightweight, sheer fabric with a delicate spray of sequins and a finished border, draped to show off its ethereal flow. The Trousers: Tailored straight-cut silk pants in a matching solid tone to keep the focus on the heavily embellished shirt. Fabric & colour: Primary colour : Pistachio (A muted, sophisticated pastel green). Embroidery colour : Silver and Champagne Gold tilla/thread work with clear sequins Shirt fabric : High-quality Organza (layered over a silk lining) to support the heavy embroidery Dupatta fabric : Soft Organza for a graceful, airy drape Trouser fabric : Raw Silk, providing a structured yet smooth finish. Styling Tip: Since the dress is very detailed, the choice of minimal silver strappy heels and statement earrings (as seen in the photo) is perfect. It keeps the look balanced without feeling “over-accessorized.
